ACCCESSIBILITY & ASSISTANCE
At Siren Events we pledge to make all of our events as inclusive and accessible as possible. As well as our Zero Tolerance Policy on offensive behaviour we are committed to making adjustments where possible to allow our Attendees with additional needs to enjoy our events.
Requests for Carer Tickets and Assistance Passes must be completed no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event. Any applications later than this may not be processed.
CARER TICKETS
Carer Tickets are available to our Attendees who are unable to attend the event alone and have purchased a paid ticket for the event. Carer Tickets are entry only, and are not able to have any autographs or photo ops. Attendance of carers to Meet & Greets and Coffee Breaks will be allowed if you have a valid ticket for yourself, but they will not be permitted to sit with you / participate unless this is in line with your specific access needs (and must be agreed in advance of the event). Additional seating in the Meet & Greet / Coffee Break rooms will be provided for carers while Guest(s) are participating.
If your carer wishes to take an active part in any of the activities - Autographs, Photo Ops, Meet & Greets, Coffee Breaks, etc. - they will require their own paid Event Ticket and for those activities.
For Reserved Seating in the first and second row, carer seating will be provided in the 3rd row or along the nearest side wall, subject to final seating layout of the event.
Requesting a Carer Ticket does not guarantee one will be issued to you.
To request a Carer Ticket, add one to your order with your standard Event Ticket and complete the details of your carer. In the confirmation email for you will receive a link to the Carer Ticket Request Form, which must be completed within 2 weeks for your Carer Ticket request to be processed.
You will be required to provide a photograph / scan / photocopy of one of the following documents to confirm you require this level of care:
-
Front page of a PIP or DLA Award Letter
-
Attendance Allowance (AA) letter in name of Carer
-
Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)
-
Disabled Persons Bus or Rail Pass / Blue Badge
-
BD8 or Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
-
Access Card with Carer / Companion Symbol
If you are not based in the UK, or are in doubt about the validity of your documentation, please detail the documentation you have available so Siren Events can assess if they are suitable.
If you are requesting a Carer Ticket, you do not need to also complete the Assistance Pass request.
